How do I sign in?
Signing in is required to purchase the Mapy.cz Premium version, as well as to access the free offline map of one country. In addition to a Seznam account, you can use accounts from other providers like Google, Microsoft, or Apple.
- Open the Menu icon (a round white button with three lines) in the Mapy.cz app.
- Select Sign In and log in using your Seznam account (an email address registered with Seznam) or choose alternative sign-in options via Google, Microsoft, or Apple accounts.
You can log in using accounts from Google, Microsoft, or Apple:
- Google: Use your Google account if your email address ends with
@gmail.com. - Microsoft: Use your Microsoft account if your email is hosted by Microsoft.
- Apple: Use your Apple ID to log in with your Apple account.
Tip: These accounts do not require phone number verification.
During the sign-in process, you will first be redirected to the provider's website for verification, then back to Seznam’s registration to finalize with a short form.
I don't have an account / I want to create a new account
You can easily create a Seznam account:
- Visit the registration page at registrace.seznam.cz.
- Choose the type of registration: "Seznam email" (Create a new email address with Seznam) or "Use my email" (Register using an existing email address).
- Complete the registration form: Enter details like your username, password, date of birth, and optionally your gender.
- Phone number verification: During registration, you’ll need to verify your phone number via SMS. If phone verification is not possible, use one of the alternative sign-in methods that do not require it.
